I can’t post about just one thing today. I’m too pingy. You know, “PING! Hey I wonder how the world got started” and then “PING! Hey I need toothpaste and TP”. Under the umbrella of my inability to stick to one thing, I decided that today’s post needed to cover many things. And so I shall. Oh yes, I shall.

• The Olympics-I cannot bring myself to actually do an entire post about them. I avoided watching them like the plague. I accidentally ran across them this morning trying to find a weather forecast, rolled my eyes at the spectacle of it all, and was immediately reminded what a dufus I am for dissing the event. Of course people want to watch it! Look at the amazing accomplishments of these athletes! Look how it inspires our nation! Look at the heroes it has created! I mean, a 41 year old MOM who is a 3 time silver medal winner in women’s swimming? 41!! That is inspiring. And that boy looks awful good in a speedo.
• Speaking of Heroes-What happened to this show? Where is it? Will it be back? I miss it! Save the cheerleader, save the WORLD!
• On quitting smoking-I’m on day 4. I feel a little…edgy today, but overall not bad. Added a cool thing on the sidebar (thanks Karl!) to track how much money I’m saving. You know, so the Mr. will buy me something appropriately expensive as a reward. But maybe wait like a week. So the dollahs can climb a bit more.
• On dieting and weight loss-Leave it to me to be stupid enough to make multiple self-improvement goals at the same time. However, this time I believe it to be working. I’ve lost 20 lb thus far and the scale is happily below the 200lb mark for the first time in 2 years! Working toward a new tattoo, ya know. This one will be a biggie. You will be so impressed.
• On school starting-Please hurry, yo!
• Fibromyalgia-I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to make a post about it. And how it affects all the other things I’m trying to do for myself right now. Not today though. I can’t concentrate.
• Ty Pennington-Why is he not married yet? Serial playboy? Or playing with boys? Hmmm…
• Fishing-I need to go fishing today. It’s raining. Should I?
• Blog readership-I changed to a new location. I posted the new location at the old location. Still, I have much fewer comments here than I had there. Not that there were tons. Do I want to increase my readership? Oh, I don’t know.

Any thoughts on any of this? Too random? Too boring? Yeah. Me too.
